Great, clean alternative to potting soil!
I switched to LECA clay for some of my houseplants, and I’m so glad I did! This is such a clean and mess-free option compared to traditional potting soil. No more spilled dirt or pests—just smooth, round clay balls that look great and work even better. The color is a nice natural brown that gives a modern, earthy look to my planters. It actually enhances the aesthetic of my clear pots and adds a sleek, minimal vibe to my plant shelf. My plants are thriving in LECA—especially ones that prefer consistent moisture and better airflow around the roots. Growth has been strong, and root development is super easy to monitor and manage. The quality of the clay is excellent: uniform size, lightweight, and easy to rinse before use.If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, visually appealing, and effective growing medium, this is it! Highly recommend for both beginner and experienced plant lovers.

This works perfectly to make my own potting soil
I got this for my garden to help make a lighter fluffier soil. I didn't know what I was doing but it makes the soil look more 'professional.' Once I got a better handle on what I was doing I used this to make my own potting soil after blowing too much money trying to fill my fabric garden bags. I used 3 parts coconut coir, 2 parts compost, 1/2 part vermiculite, and 1/2 part perlite. It worked perfectly and my plants are happy and so is my wallet.

Overall good
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Not bad and gets the job done. I only need a small amount and that’s the only several sellers who offer such small pack. But I did notice there are some cracked pebbles. It probably could work no difference but since I used them on the surface of soil, it makes the overall look not exactly to my expectations

Perlite is good stuff!
The perlite is great. It keeps the soil loose--not compacted--and helps it retain moisture. The amount of perlite I received is a good value because you don't need to use a lot of perlite in your plant soil to be effective.

Too small for the price!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I will take the blame here for not taking the time to see that it was a quart which is a 6"x6"package by 1 inch which is about how much it takes to fill up a pot ...one pot ...and it's nine dollars for the bag.The picture they showed was a plant in a pot next to the bag and silly me just plowed right over the size of it. There is no way I am paying nine dollars to replant one plant.

Wouldn't recommend
I was excited about trying this soil since the reviews were all good but since I have changed my usual indoor potting soil to this one my plants started dying and now I noticed that I keep having to scoop out soil because every time I water them the top soil is turning white. I have never had this issue before. Unfortunately this product did not work for me.

Top of the Line & Available
Exactly what I’ve been looking for to put my succulents in…been looking since last year and no one carries it in store anymore. I have found just plain cactus soil, but not the small rocks mixed in soil for succulents. I can buy the different items needed to make it, but it would be so much more expensive. If I have to order, might as well be what I want from Amazon and can get it sooner than another place.
