Pirate's BootyAged White Cheddar, 113 g Bags (Pack of 12)

Delicious!!!

My kids love this item, they love the flavor and I like that the ingredients are preferable to some of the other more "common" brands, they are gluten-free! yeah! Even my kids friends ask for them when they visit. The only (2) things that I do not like is (1) The bag is to big for a single serving, so if only 1 child opens the bag, it needs to be sealed very well and make sure your kids don't open a new bag without finishing the one that they had already opened or you will end up with lots of half-eaten bags! (I know in a perfect world,..) and (2) their fingers get messy. My son brings a snack to eat in his classroom and the teacher does not want me to send him with this product because of the mess! I have no issue at home, but at school they are banned! Next time I will purchase the smaller bags for home use, it would be more economic for our family in the long run that to have 1/2 bags everywhere.

I regret buying this because it is too good. I am not joking about that either I usually have very good self control when it comes to eats and snacks but these are like crack. They have the taste of cheetos puffs but its even better. The soft but slight crunch is very pleasing and they just keep wanting you to eat more and more. I opened a bag just to snack a little and by the time I realized it my hand was hitting the bottom of the bag and I felt terrible lol. They just hit some wiring in your brain and it makes it hard to control. So be warned if you buy them you'll not want to stop eating them. They call to you in that big box and its hard to resist the temptation. (Originally bought for the kids and kids love them but I love them more hehehehe)

Pirate's Booty has been my 16 month old daughter's favorite snack since she was 6 months old. Great for babies who are just starting on solids because it dissolves easily in their mouth, it's gluten-free, low in sodium (has less sodium than cheerios) and it just plain tastes good. I usually throw some Pirate's Booty in a snack saver cup and carry it in my diaper bag when I'm out running errands. Whenever my daughter starts to lose her patience, I pull it out and Viola!! I've got a happy baby again. I swear, this stuff is magic!! Don't know how I would have gotten through this past year (or gotten anything done) without it!! : )At our local grocery store, a 4 oz bag usually sells for $2.99. Buying it by the case using Amazon's Subscribe and Save program, it comes out to $1.78 bag. That's a pretty good deal in my book, especially considering how much of this stuff my daughter can go through.

I first encountered this product at COSTCO. When they discontinued it I decided to find another source. I have diverticulosis and the doctor says I should avoid popcorn completely. This is a wonderful substitute. I also am diabetic and the product has no sugar and not too much carbohydrate either. I thought 12 bags would last about 6 months. I didn't count on my wife and son acquiring a taste for it as well. Twelve bags is only about a three month supply. While other flavors are available, I think the cheddar cheese flavor best approximates the flavor of buttered popcorn. I can now watch a movie and enjoy the old custom of munching on "popcorn". (The product is also available in much smaller bags and 60 bags at once. That is convenient for packing in lunches, but you pay more per ounce.)
