You just have to start it and shortly after you won't want to put it down! One of those books you read multiple times.
Great read! I read it twice during two very different times in my life, and it is very inspiring, and I realized applicable to EVERYONE. For those seeking to inspire, would like to make a small difference in someone's life, how small actions and a reminder of the strength of positivity, not allowing yourself to be negative around anyone can lift up people to do amazing things. And the whole time you are perfecting yourself and more joyful to be around, happier as a person. The list wouldn't end. You will find many things that will stick out and make your day, your life a little better. You just have to start it and shortly after you won't want to put it down. I am a 29-year-old man who felt like I went on an emotional roller coaster, haha I DONT cry, But I found myself crying from a book! And smiling so hard! I am embarrassed sharing this :)

Compelling, insightful stories bring this book to life
Great Work is one of the best new business books I've read this year. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in shaking up their thinking and firing up the synapses to take a more innovative, fresh perspective to the challenges they face at work and in their personal life. The book is based on a database of millions of employees who were recognized for great work and what they did that made a difference. Great Work teaches how to reframe your role and work with what you've got, which felt really relevant. The author brings the concepts to life with a ton of fascinating stories that show the outcomes of those who dared to see things differently, and what their individual contributions did for their company and their careers. I really enjoyed how the book carried me from story to story, presenting vivid examples of how to apply the ideas that came out of research. There are some really brilliant insights. This book is very well-researched and flows nicely. Even the appendix, which contains a deep dive into the research, was interesting and informative. It's a great piece of work!

Make a Difference - With Questions.
Dave does a great job speaking to the heart of finding a great career - making a difference for others. As the author of " Have You Googled Yourself Lately? (Online Reputation Management) ", I found this book very valuable.I have often pondered if it is better to have all the right answers or be able to ask the right questions... -- Albert Einstein said, "If I had an hour to solve a problem and my life depended on it, I would use the first 55 minutes determining the proper question to ask, for once I know the proper question, I could solve the problem in less than five minutes."Sturt, David (2013-08-12). Great Work: How to Make a Difference People Love (Kindle Locations 454-456). McGraw-Hill. Kindle Edition.Awesome Book.

Great Work is indeed a great work itself
I first thought this was going to be a "quick" read, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it was packed with information, well thought out, documented, and down to earth so that anyone could understand and gain form it's messages. I loved the stories of Josh and Tina, and the janitor who made a difference in the hospital. The life philosophies explained by clear real world examples are applicable to all aspects of life and work, and are well worth your time in this book. It's packed with facts and details. There is no fluff in this book! Glad I found it!

Good ideas; So-so Inspiration
I was really turned on by the title of this book, by the bestseller status, and by the many 5-star reviews. It's hard for me to pinpoint what didn't work for me about it except to say that by Chapter 5 I started getting bored. The content is smartly written and the ideas are useful, but I've heard a lot of them before. I was eagerly looking forward to having an exciting and inspiring reading experience, but it just didn't light a fire in my belly. Ultimately, I didn't have either the interest or the energy to finish the book. Maybe all the really great stuff was towards the end.

A book meant for anyone who cares to make a difference!
This book was a fabulous read! It gave me a lot of different perspective and knowledge about myself and my potential. I bought it to help me be the "cutting edge" at my job, but it has bled over into my life and made such a difference, even in the way I play with my children. This is one book I highly recommend for anyone who loves self-improvement. This book gives you the confidence to be able to know how to make a difference and to create that mindset! Hope you all enjoy it like I did!

How to Make a Difference In Your Organization
This book is a great book on how to make people in your organization difference makers. There's a difference between someone who likes their job and someone who is passionate about what they do. Mr. Sturt does a great job in this book. The only negative experience I had was the book was offered with a Amazon gift card which I never received. When talking to the company they claimed they sent it but did not make any effort to find out why I never received it. Regardless the book is amazing.
