Once you start using this bottle, you will have a hard time sleeping without it!
Got this after receiving a recommendation for an external warming device for camping in near 20 degree weather. I tried it out at home first and learned several very important things: Your bed retains warmth even after your spouse moves it, it stays warm over 24 hours if buried in a heavy down comforter, if the water is scalding hot then it generates an amazing amount of heat for many hours, and it is the best camp buddy. Well camping in 20° weather recently, I filled this up with 140° water and threw it in my 20° sleeping bag. I normally use a Reactor liner, wool socks and a knit cap plus fleece PJs. At 2 AM, It was way too hot. I sleep cold and this was literally the first time I had to remove the liner, my socks and air the sleeping bag out. I actually thought I was suffocating from the heat.Does it work? Will you kick yourself for forgetting it when you go on a business trip and have to stay in a hotel for several days? Will you wonder how you got along without it all these years? Will your spouse complain it is too warm in the bed? Will your child ask for his own bottle because it is so nice in bed? Will your spouse laugh that you were giving a five star review for a hot water bottle?Absolutely. I never give five stars unless it is really useful. It is really really really useful. One minor issue, I noticed that the knit sleeve is starting to tear. It is only been two months so not sure how long it will last before I have to sew it or try some repairs.

Keeping the cold away!
These water bottles were a lifesaver. My hands have been freezing with the colder weather and my little space heater was drying up my space and making it difficult to breathe. But with these, I put one between my feet and another at my back or on my laps as I work. And somehow my whole body stays warm. Tab water doesn't last long though. I read a review, where someone talked about heating up the water. so that's what I do. Not as hot as the water for tea but definitely hotter than tap water. It's doing the trick. No more getting up with frozen feet. I actually feel toasty using this! Totally worth it! If it takes me through the winter, I will buy it as gifts come December!

this item is affordable, amd doe
i purchased this item for my current bursitis in my right hip, as i am an advid local hockey fan, and this arena is so cold sometimes, and my hip currently hates the cold with the bursitis, i turned to hot water bottles to hopefully keep myself and my hip warm long term without using any electricity.this has been the answer to my issues. they stay warm for the entire duration of the car ride, walking into the game and all throughout the actual hockey game as well as they are super warm still once I get home.i have no leaks and no spills, and no breakages.

Fantastic buy,
Often my older body has a hard time becoming comfortly warm at night. I do not like electric blankets for several reasons including safety reasons. They help me fall asleep toasty warm. There are no leakage at all. For a couple dollars more than other brands, .you get 2 bottles with removable sweater covers which i prefer not to use. Great bonus: they come with 2 extra caps. I am very happy with my purchase. Note you are to use hot tap water, which is plenty warm

Fabulous
I went to Africa and when the evening came along the resorts had these water bottles in the bed warming my body on a cold night. I came home and purchased several so I could enjoy that warmth and love in my own home.

Heavenssss!
Great quality!!!! These things are the best! Can’t go to bed without it every night! I’ve used these kind of water bottles for many years! I’ve had them for a couple months now, no problems at all. Of course you have to “not do” certain things like fill it up or take the cover and put it directly to your skin (...) highly recommend!

So glad I tried it!
I had never used a hot water bottle before but I had a fractured hip and was awaiting surgery. All of my conventional heating pads just weren’t cutting it so a friend suggested it’s ya hot water bottle so I did! So glad I listened it was soft moist heat, stayed warm for a long time. It has now become my go to for relief even now after surgery!

Bottles don't flex much
Because of bottle design they don't bend much and are more suitable for putting on a flat surface such as your back. Not so good for tennis elbow, etc. The sock covering really reduces the transmittal of the temperature. Cute, but didn't use it. Also, the bottle opening is too small to easily put in ice cubes if you want a cold bag.
