Not pyramid bags
Best value way to buy these if you drink a lot of tea. Just be aware they are not the pyramid bags - if that matters to you ( not me). It makes no difference to taste and quality, which are excellent. Very good value, easy way to stock up. Sack was sealed fine, bags were fresh and in good condition.

Terrible & Weak Tea
Weak. Requires longer steeping than necessary. Bitter. Poor taste. Disappointing. The worst cup of tea I've ever had. Waste of money. What happened here? Is this actually PG Tips tea?? Is counterfeit tea possible? Because if so, this is it. I drank PG Tips for years & it has never steeped like this or tasted like this. I'm switching back to Yorkshire. If I could select no stars, I would. But I couldn't post without making a selection. This tea doesn't deserve even one star.

Great tea, ample quantity for a serious tea drinker
I make a gallon of tea every couple of days. I brew it 8 bags to a gallon which is perfect for my tastes. Not bitter, not too acetic, flavorful...in other words, the perfect strong tea.

This has been my favorite tea for iced tea for years
I’ve gotten the big bag before, but this time the tea was in flat bags instead of the pyramid bags. It seems to taste the same and I use the same number of bags for a pitcher of iced tea.

The tea was absolutely terrible!
I'm writing this review several months after my purchase. Shame on me after 20 years of drinking this tea that I didn't read the fine print. It says decaffeinated. I did not relize PG made decaffeinated tea. The listing say decaf but the packaging doesn't so I have no idea what in the world I got. The "pyramid" were smooshed and had only a little tea in them. Took extra bags to brew my normal strength pot of tea. Now today after received a new order (from a different Amazon store) I received flat tea bags even though the listing said "original pyramid". What is going on? These discrepanies is what made me write this review. My new purchase today 4/25/24 is suppose to be black tea, the listing at the very bottom of the comparision chart says it's English Breakfast. If my first or second cup of PG tea years ago tasted like my previous purchase I would never have brought PG tea home from England with me. Back 20 years ago (& b4 Amazon) PG tea was difficult to find in the local grocery stores. I had fallen in love with it on my first visit to England. 2nd trip back I packed extra ziplock bags to pack as much tea in my suitcase as I could to bring home. Even today not many carry PG, if they do it's in small boxes. Maybe time to find a better tea.

These are NOT Pyramid teabags, and they are NOT Decaf as the description states
Great tea, the description states that they are pyramid tea bags. The shape that PG is known for. Unfortunately when I opened the bag it was full of 1100 regular square teabags. Maybe it is just psychological but I feel the pyramid bags steep better. Tea is fine and I will drink, but I am disappointed that I have to consume 1100 bags now before I can replace them with the shape I prefer. It also lists it as decaf and they are NOT decaf.

Definitely NOT "Pyramid Tea Bags"
Definitely NOT "Pyramid Tea Bags"I wanted the tetrahedral bags. They are great. They add a little design energy to an otherwise pedestrian excercise of making my morning cup of tea. The little pyramid tops capture just enough air and offer an easy tool-free way to pinch the bag with bare fingers and agitate the bag in the cup before setting it aside.I didn't read the reviews because this is a food product I've purchased before. My previous purchase ended in flat bags which I notched up to my not reading carefully. So, I specifically searched for them & ended up buying this costco-sized behemoth thinking it was the one product offering that wasn't those accounting-consultancy-designed boring flat bags.No print on the bag indicates the shape, so I had to open it to find out. And the current ad copy in the product listing on Amazon also does not indicate the actual bag shape.ugh, is food returnable? cuz I really didn't need the restaurant-sized quantity..."LOL" means Live & Learn, right?

Not pyramidal tea bags - normal flat bags in this order
Good tea but not pyramidal teabags - usually these are pyramidal but this order from this retailer was not. Prefer the pyramids.
