I realized I never wrote a review for this product and it only just now struck me when I saw it on my "buy it again" list. Absolutely fantastic moss! Very easy to use, my orchid adores it, great cheap option for that matter.

Better-Gro 50450 Premium Grade Moss has been an excellent choice for my orchids, ferns, and hostas. This product was not too bad. It didn't go as far as I would like (I use them for moss poles). I got two 24"x 2.5" diameter moss poles out of it. I usually go through my moss to clean up debris. This had more twigs and good sized bits of branches and other things in it than the cheaper moss I have purchased. The smell isn't bad, very fresh and earthy. I would use this again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Loosely packed in 2 small bales. For my needs it's enough but it's not a huge amount. Not alot of debris from what I've used so far. Excellent for propagation of houseplant cuttings. No mold issues and that's a plus for my use.

This is the only brand of orchid Moss I buy! It does a great job My orchids are very happy and thriving. The moss alone doesn't do it you have to know what they want and as far as sun and water goes. But if you have those other things down pat and you use this moss your orchids will be very happy

I'm not a big fan of using media for the roots of my orchids as I prefer to use leca balls as they cause less root rot, however I have been trying to find ways to manage the humidty of my orchids better. I have humidity towers that I have added to my plants and filled them with this moss and it has been perfect. The water retention is awesome and you can pack the material down without issue. Overall I found the moss clean and haven't really encountered any issues other than a small twig here or there. No funny smells or trash in the mix, so that's a plus. Overall very happy with it.

This moss is wonderful! I run a small plant business and customers always ask what kind of moss I use. I’ve had difficulty finding a quality moss but this moss is my favorite and comes at a wonderful price! The size/quality is great for the price and comes nicely compacted. The colors look vibrant and it doesn’t mold. The most important part is my plants love it and stay healthy!
