Asli Punjabi Khanna: Real Punjabi Food

The recipes are easy to follow and obviously, the writer has a great knowledge of Punjabi cuisine. It is worth the money as there are loads of recipes.

I bought this book for my wife, the recipes are easy to follow with clear step by step instructions full of handy tips a glossary and a list of dishes that compliment each other. We have tried numerous recipes which have all tasted great, Hope that a second book will be published as we would definitely buy it!

Whilst I like the recipes in this book, I do have one complaint.The manufacturing is sub standard. All images and the binding are fine however, the section relating to dal has pages missing.It skips from the photo on page 125 to the chapter divider on page 134 (this is a filler page with no content, page 135 is the header for the next chapter).Whilst I appreciate this is not the fault of the author, it is disappointing to have lost 4 recipes and 8 pages from this book.The publisher does not have any contact information from where I could request a replacement.

its an ok book, not what I expected though

I enjoy cooking and thought i would buy a new book I'm glad I did it's by far the easiest book to follow a fantastic purchase I made the samosas they were amazing showcasing this book as a real home cooking book.Looking forward to my next dish from the book !

I bought this book as a present for my wife, so that we could have some new dishes. The author has admitted that it was written for young girls, learning how to cook. Certainly not for those that can cook and are looking to expand their range. Such a shame that no-one had said so in their reviews - did they not read it?It is a good book no doubt, though I feel I have wasted all that money, and pensions don't go far these days.

I also am very lucky to know the author and have tasted some of her wonderful food.I purchased the book and have just made my first curry and naan breads, the recipe was really easy to follow and every technique is explained. The food was beautiful x
