My African Violets are constant masses of flowers all year non stop. I will never use any other brand of fertilizer.

I had never before attempted to grow African violets. I began by rooting in water some cuttings of different colors that I bought on eBay. Then I discovered this J R Peters African Violet specific fertilizer. Once they formed roots I planted the cuttings in Miracle-Gro potting soil for African violets. I mix the recommended amount of fertilizer with room temperature filtered well water and water them often enough to just keep the soil moist, about once every seven to ten days. I water with a small funnel so as to not get water on the leaves or splash soil onto the leaves. They don’t like for either thing to happen. Most importantly to your success with violets is the amount of light they receive. Mine are sitting in a planter box in front of a southward facing window, and they love it! They constantly stay in bloom year round as long as I keep the soil moistened with the fertilizer water. This works especially well during the winter months even with less daylight since the sun is pitched slightly southward and can come through the window. Do these things mentioned and you’ll have success, even if you are like I was at first and knew very little.

Excellent results

I put some in my water every time I time I water my violets and other blooming plants, and it works well. The ratio of different nutrients is good for blooming plants because that higher middle numbers helps to grow roots and blooms.
