Works well with my cordless drill
Need to mix two different types of dog food per breeders recommendation. Purchased this and a 5 gallon bucket with lid. Obviously, I'm not that stupid, take lid off and scoop dog food from each bag and use this thing with a good quality cordless drill and within 30 seconds, dog food mixes nicely. I imagine it works well for anything relatively small that needs to be mixed. You pay for what you get as this works really well.

Mashed potatoes
Great for mixing/mashing an extra large pot of potatoes.

Perfect for my application needs... even if it is not stainless steal but galvanized steal...
For short period use in stone fruit that has been frozen and thawed, this is the perfect tool on low speed to puree without shattering or breaking into bits the stones and puree the fruit at the same time. No more making mash, must or other puree products for either jams, pressings for juice and having to remove stones by hand. Works VERY well with 'freestone' fruits or semi-free stone fruits. Works OK but takes longer, with stones that have flesh adhesion, but works never the less on low speed and takes 2-3 times longer. But it works well for this application.

Smaller than Expected
Although the dimensions (in mm) are on the item label (60x8x400mm) they are not listed in the description. The mixing "paddle" is about 2.5", and overall length of about 16", with hexagonal shaft about 3/8". This will definitely work for 1-3 gallon containers. However, a 5 gallon container may give it a run for its money depending on viscosity. The steel seems to be a 300 series stainless with low magnetic properties. I don't have a laser spectrum analyzer to correctly determine its "real" composition (yes, I'm mocking the idiots that don't know materials science, but speak loudly anyway). The "paddle" is stamped and appears to be firmly welded to the shaft. It appears to be somewhat polished to a matte finish after fabrication. It does have several spots that can trap solids if not washed carefully.Overall, I thought it would be larger given the 5 gallon rated capacity (can't rely on Amazon Package Size Description at all), but it will meet my needs of mixing 4-5 gallons of specialty lemonade or tallow soap as required. If it rusts in the dishwasher or breaks easily I will update.

It works!
I had 60# of taters to mash for thanksgiving and knew I couldn't do that many by hand. This attachment to my Ryobi drill made the whole process much easier. It works really well and can leave small little chunks of potato which reminds everyone that they are not instant spuds.
