Good grinder for the price

need a cheap grinder, because i had a lot of grinding to do and the battery Dwalt was eating batterys, wasnt expecting much, but its very very good so far

Usually I use my DeWalt grinder to do most of the cutting/grinding work, but it is tired and the gearbox is making some noise. Rather than buy another I decided to try something cheaper that does NOT have one of the 'safe' switches that tend to switche themselves off just as you are getting going. Instead, this one has a switch at the rear that will remain in the 'on' position until I switch if off. It is surprisingly powerful and lighter in weight than my old one. Like any grinder, just let the machine do the work and try not to force it. Overall I gave this a solid 5 stars because it did exactly what I needed it to do and I am sure that it will last me a long time. The build quality is good and it feels solid in the hand, which adds to the comfort when using it. I love the rear-mounted switch as it allows me to concentrate on the work in hand without fear of the switch automatically turning itself off!

Used for a small project in the garden and it was perfect for cutting pavers. Great value.

I bought 4 of these as they were so cheap, unfortunately the side handle snapped in use on all of them and the seller was not interested in my enquiry / complaint.Could easily have caused a serious accident when breaking in use, cost more money to have the handles replaced with better aftermarket ones. Once this was done they became usefull again but they do overheat very quickly if you need to use them for more than a few minutes at a time.Guess you get what you pay for.
