My SIL gave this to me for a recent trip to the Caribbean. It worked beautifully. Has the same solid moisturizing power and feel that chapstick provides. We also had sunbum chapstick w/ the spf and I kept coming back to this one because it felt the best on my lips. Not a fan of the price, but definitely would buy it and use it again and give it as a gift.

For years I have suffered from lip melasma in the summers, as soon as the sun hits my lips a dark brown line forms on the both the top and bottom lips. It’s been so bad I’ve been asked if I am a smoker (I’ve never smoked a day in my life). I have literally tried every single lip balm made to protect lips I could find. This is the only one that actually protects my lips and doesn’t turn them white. I honestly can’t believe that after all these years I finally found something. I have one tube in practically every location of my home, car, bag you name it. I re-apply constantly to keep the melasma from returning. I was always so self conscious about it and tried using lipstick to cover it up but that really didn’t work and only contributed to making it worse since most lipsticks don’t have spf. This balm is lip-saving!

Nice small little chapsticks! I like that they are spf 30 and they are very moisturizing. They all smell pretty similar and have that sunscreen scent but they are worth it since being so moisturizing. The price is a little high for being so tiny but still worth it!

I love these! I’m obsessed with working spf into my daily routine. These are a great low maintenance lip balm for every day, even without the extra sun protection. I was worried about a sunscreen flavor/scent, but’s it’s not bad at all. I can smell it a little at first but the mint covers it up. The texture is perfect, not too soft and not too hard. It glides on like butter and stays put for a couple hours. It’s not shiny, more like a waxy balm than a gloss. If I’m wearing a lip color I’ll put this on first and layer the color on top, it makes the lipstick slightly more sheer. I will probably buy more so I always have one with me.
