This hitch lives up to all the hype.I towed with the traditional bar/chain set up with friction sway for 12 years. This last soring (2024)we sold or camper and and bought a new one and decided it was time to upgrade my towing game as well.I really wish I would’ve bought one sooner. I’ve been eyeing them for a few years.Hooking up is so much easier, especially since there is no need for a separate sway control. One less step in the process. Hitch is very quiet if you follow their guidelines and grease in the proper locations. IAre there better way more expensive hitches out there? Yes.Are they overkill for the weekend warrior such as myself? Yes.The Equalizer checks all the boxes.

What a difference!! Works great, heavy until assembled but balanced once together and removing from hitch…..

We purchased this to move across the country. It really helps control the trailer when pulling through the mountains too. We love the difference and how easy it is to pull with.

This is my third Equilizer to go along with my third travel trailer (had a 12/12K, 14/14K and then this one, a 16/16K). Had nothing but great experiences with the equilizer brand. Liked this one because it came with the shank and the ball already installed and didn’t have to go to a shop to get it torqued (saved time and money). Now, these hitches will make a little noise, have to, friction is how it works. Keep the hitch head torqued, clean it and lube it and she will work for years.

I feel safe with the equal i zer. I have two other sets, 10,000 and this last one 12,000. This is the best sway control system on the market and well worth the money! Customer service is exceptional also!

The hitch works great. greatly reduces sway. feel much more comfortable towing. Can't compare to other equalizer hitches. The instructions are not too good. there is a video from the Equal-I-Zer website that is helpful.. Also don't torque until the very end. Place hitch, tighten. Place equalizer and tighten. Attach, then measure truck. Then adjust. Before torquing, measure trailer and make sure it is level as well. adjust hight of the ball, and remeasure until perfect. Then torque...

This hitch is made in America and heavy duty. It was easy to install with all the right tools.

We pull a 35' travel trailer. We have had two other tow bars. This one is by far the best.
