These are expensive but worth every penny. Usually, I use the tablets (each sachet has the same dosage as a single tablet, so you'll need two), but the tablets get soggy if you leave them somewhere like your car. These don't. I won't replace the tablets for normal use. They're both cheaper and easier to deal with. But, these are ideal for tossing in your glove compartment or backpack (or purse, I suppose).

Good product. Consumer Labs rated this as high quality as it has the amount of alginate advertised which many GERD products don’t. The travel packets are convenient & disposable so less space in my suitcase for a daily dose.

This is not the Gaviscon liquid antacid that is commonly sold over-the-counter in the USA. This is a different Gaviscon product primarily sold in Europe. It’s intended to help alleviate acid reflux. It is an antacid (though sodium based so maybe not good for people with sodium sensitivity) and it also has a gelling agent in it so that it will tend to coat the esophagus and form a layer on to of the stomach liquids. This is reasonably effective. It’s a good thing to have on-hand for occasional acid reflux.Mine arrived in perfect condition and included an sheet of paper giving information in English as the package markings are in — I believe — French.

A super disappointment! Package arrived in poor condition and the entire packet was in French. That did not work for me. Product has been returned.
