Works well and looks good! Almost perfect.
I love it, very bright and high quality for the money. 2 of the 18-24inch sets fit perfectly on my 55 gallon aquarium. Very aesthetically pleasing and I like that it’s flat, not curved like some lights out there. It has pretty bright white and blue lights with lots of settings, all work well. One thing I would want to change is, it doesn’t have an actual on/off switch, it just has different setting so I need to actually unplug it if I want it off. So far so good though. I just keep it on the lowest blue setting at night. Brackets were a bit difficult to put into the lights but it worked out well. Overall I give it a 4.5 out of 5. Very high quality but not completely perfect... in my opinion. Definitely worth the money and I would by from this brand again!

Nice and bright
I like this better than the one I bought next to it from the pet store. It's brighter and I expect it will be great for my plants. I wanted to trade out my florescent for this one. As I wanted it to match on both sides. I am also using my florescent for plants. This is an excellent choice and I am glad I got it.

Great light!
Using 2 of these for my 16gal planted.I recommend use a separate timer for consistent time length and what time of day. The time thing on this cord isn’t ideal, but the light is very nice, cleans easily, long cord, good plug. It has been dipped into the tank once or twice but no damage has occurred.

Bright LED, haven’t tested PAR or LUMENS.
*6 month final update* Sept. 2020: See picture after a small trim + Wc. Growth has been amazing, I have to admit I am VERY PLEASED with the results for my 10g. My dwarf baby tears has carpeted and pearls every day, my Rotalas get pink colors and are thriving, dwarf hairgrass has no problem at all, and my giant hairgrass has rapid growth.*Update* 2 months later: still going strong, plant growth great. See update pictures.March 2020: I purchased the Classic Gen2 LED model. Light works fine so far, seems very bright in my 10 gallon tank, but I have not tested PAR or lumens. Details say 75+ PAR and 1160 Lumens at 12” which should be strong enough to grow baby dwarf tears carpet at high light. LED does get slightly warm but not hot. Comes with a Nice aluminum light casing as well. The lights pull out legs aren’t easy to slide in and out, which is a GOOD thing since it’ll be over water.I purchased the 18”-24” LED - And for anyone confused like I was this means the total length of the LEDs (actual rectangle size) is 18” and the legs can extend out to 24” or more to sit on the rim of the tank.Only had running on 10hr light cycles for a few weeks, will provide update if it breaks down in the near future. To make this a 5 star purchase, I would recommend an App with built in timer which will make effortless to use... unfortunately, you have to manually turn on/off and change modes with the touch switch. This isn’t always convenient if it’s hidden behind your tank or in a cabinet under the tank.I decided to simply plug my LED into a wemo smart plug and control times with my Apple homekit automations. You can also buy an adapter from the same company to enable a timer/modes - but I could not determine if it came with memory for after a power outage or not. I know my homekit smart plug can be controlled anywhere In the world and will reconfigure itself if the power goes out so I don’t miss a light period.Picture taken 10 March 2020 of the beginning of my Iwagumi Aquascape - 10 gallon tank
