These are the perfect size for feeding my kitties their meals, then I throw them away to save on washing their cat dishes. They are thick and sturdy enough to avoid spills and liquids leaking through. I mix a little pureed pumpkin in my cat's wet food and these trays hold up nicely since pumpkin makes the food a little runny or watery.

I bought these for snacks originally, but then realized they are great to feed the cats wet cat food. They do not leak if ithere is liquid and the kitties do. Or have any trouble eating g out of them- then I grab and toss! I just hate cleaning g wet cat food off of plates and bowls so these are perfect for our family!

I run an animal rescue. These trays are perfect for use in a live trap as they sit right in the space between the end of the trap and the trigger plate. Also great for feeding the fosters their wet food. Nothing soaks through them so the blankets and bedding in the kennels stay dry (well, I guess that's relative to the messiness of the individual cat!). I agree with another poster that they are a tad bit expensive for a rescue and it would be great if the seller had a bulk-purchase option but I also understand the seller needs to make a profit.

The media could not be loaded. I used these 1/4lb boats to hold the bait food in the trap while TNRing feral cats. They are small enough that the cat cannot reach them without tripping the trigger plate. They are also sturdy -water/cat food juices do not soak through after 8+ hours. When recovering the cats overnight after surgery, I use these dishes in the trap too, but not for water alone as the edges are a little too low for water not to easy splash out of the sides. If the cat is especially skittish I mix wet food and water together in these dishes.I also work within a prison system where I am a medical provider for the dogs inside, these boats have come in handy in so many ways- diluting chlorihex scrub to use on a wound, putting pills in small amount of wet food. I love these boats & carry a supply of them along with tongue depressors in my vehicle at all times !
