EPSON 222 Claria Ink Standard Capacity Black & Color Cartridge Combo Pack (T222120-BCS) Works with WorkForce WF-2960, Expression XP-5200

This is pricey and I hope it lasts for a good long time, but despite the price the ink works so good. I have seen the other reviews saying that it wont connect to their printers, but it works just fine. Its ink, what more can I say, get it if you need it. It will do the trick.

I needed these cartridges STAT for home office use, but once I’d installed them and the printer had finished initializing, the same “replace ink cartridge” popped up saying my new black ink was completely empty and the other 3 new cartridges were at half capacity. I never even got to print a SINGLE page. I’ve gone through all troubleshooting steps, made sure all drivers and software were all up-to-date, yadda yadda yadda. Can’t clean nozzle heads because it requires ink. Can’t perform ANY maintenance checks bc they ALL require ink. So frustrating!!!! Apparently, I’m not the only one with this issue because I saw another review with the same issue, same “replace ink” image. I called Epson since I believe this is obviously a printer issue and not an ink issue, but their only resolution was to offer to send me another black cartridge, even though the color cartridges showed they were already half expended IMMEDIATELY upon insertion. Ridiculous. For the amount of money I’ve spent on 3 ink cartridge replacements just since MAY? Totally not worth the hassle or the money.(FYI, I’m a notary, so about 95% of what I print are text documents for my clients - I’ve never used printer for pictures or graphics)

The only ink cartridges that work with my printer

I have an Epson printer, I was using off brand ink. Printed terrible, then a lovely software update made it so the off brand was useless. My printer wouldn't recognise the ink cartridges, I had to buy name brand just so I can actually use my printer. Of course it accepted these expensive ones, print quality improved 100%. Expensive wasteful lesson learned. Don't gamble on knock offs working just buy the Epson ink in the first place. I won't be making that mistake again.
