Vinland Saga Deluxe 1

This is a massive deluxe edition with a semi-soft cover. All of the pages are thick and the ink is nice and dark throughout. I havent read past Omnibus 3 of the story but have switched to these deluxe editions and will read as they are released. Not quite as nice as the textured imitation leather of Berserk deluxe but still very nice and looks terrific on a shelf.

Got the deluxe volume to reread the amazing series with and it was 100% worth it. The quality is fantastic. The artwork is stunning in this size. The page quality is amazing as well. The cover has great attention to detail with the runes. The packaging was good as my book arrived with no damage.

This is a remarkable collection of the first three volumes of Vinland Saga. I'm happy they are going to do this for all of the volumes, too. This new manga is quite big, but why not a big book for a big story with big adventures. Everything about it is top notch quality, from the cover, which is vibrant and detailed with a Nordic symbol, to the sturdiness in the binding of it, and not to mention the really nice print. It being a sizeable book also means you get to see the brilliance of Makoto Yukimura's artwork in full display. Highly recommend.

The cover is plush and embossed. Hefty volume with crisp printed pages. Well worth the purchase.
