A good play set of many different foods. Several can be cut and put back together again adding to the realism. Good value for money.

Although this picnic set seems to be loaded with an array of fruits, veg and condiments which would help little one learn new language, even the names of some very exotic ones such as starfruit, we did find however that the quality was a little hit and miss. The velcro seems to have been attached hurriedly. Some misaligned, some not stuck down well which means they come away when the fruit is cut or pulled.The colours are a little off, very bright, which isn't a bad thing to engage young children, but it may not be for everyone. Almost all the items have a high gloss finish. It doesnt speak high quality, though it is a very good value, large and very usable set.Just be careful with younger children as the velcro may end up where you dont want it to!Hope this was useful.

Got them for Christmas and so good for my kids kitchen set

Lots of different food items and hours of fun had

good selection of food, well made, lots of pieces velcroed together so child can “cut” in half. Good value for money, my 3 year old granddaughter loved it

The media could not be loaded. I thought that this set of pretend play food would be a great item for my 3-year-old granddaughter because there appeared to be a lot of opportunity to work on hand and eye coordination, colours and food recognition.The little grocery basket is the perfect size for little ones to carry around and all of the food items are lightweight, so the basket can be filled to the top without being too heavy for carrying. The little picnic mat is also a nice addition. I really like the burger sandwich as well because it slots together quite easily but holds together well when it is picked up and played with.Unfortunately, I felt that the pizza slices, fruit and vegetables were not made to as good a standard as the other items. I think it is a clever idea for children to be able to “pretend play” at cutting the food, but unlike the sandwich, these items are held together with material tabs of hooks and loops, quite a few of which, became unstuck when the items were pulled apart. These pieces of tabs and hooks are small and the adhesive on the back is very sticky, so I don’t consider this to be suitable for young children to be playing with.The plastic beverage bottles are also quite small and made from a very thin plastic, so I removed them from the set before giving this to my granddaughter, as I would have worried about her putting them in her mouth.There are also marks on some of the items as I have shown on my pictures of the shrimp and egg.I am amazed at how many different components there are in this set, but I feel that more quality-made items (like the basket and sandwich), would have made this a much better quality (and safer) children’s toy.I therefore feel this toy is over-priced at £21.59 and it isn’t something I would feel comfortable recommending for young children to play with.

My child loves this it came with a good variety of food items and a basket and little chopping set for practicing life skills really perfect for toddlers
