Very Nice Potting Soil
I really like this succulent mix. It drains well, which is a must. I keep many cactus and succulents and I'm always looking for good soil. This nutrient rich formula is working really well so far.I'm not used to paying this price for a small bag, but for the sake of convenience I would do it again. I normally buy large bags from the big garden centers in town, but was unable to find it when I needed it. I took a chance on this and I'm glad I did. I had a lot of small transplanting projects to do, so the small bag was just perfect. There were a lot of complaints in the reviews about gnats and fungus being in the soil. I can tell you from experience that that can happen with any soil from anywhere. It's always a crap shoot when you buy a bag of soil and open it up. Gnats and fungus spores can get in the soil at the manufacturing facility, in the warehouse where they're stored, or even while they're in a truck being delivered somewhere. I wouldn't fault the company for having these problems. Sometimes you could open a bag of soil and put it in your garage or shed and all it takes is one gnat to come lay an egg or one fungus spore and you're whole bag can be spoiled. I got lucky with this particular bag. No complaints here!Another issue I saw in the reviews was that people were unhappy with the little bits of wood found in the soil. This soil actually comes with aged bark (it says it on the bag), so little bits of wood is to be expected. A lot of cactus mix comes with bits of wood, so I'm used to it. If someone didn't like it, they could easily pick the pieces out and throw them away. Again, no complaints here! In the future, if I need a small bag of soil I would absolutely purchase this again. I'm quite happy with it! :)

Absolutely saved my Trigona. Very impressed!
The media could not be loaded. Let me just say this, I am not a big review person. After reading some of the other reviews though, I felt I needed to review this. I’ve had this Euphorbia Trigona (or that’s what it was labeled as) for over 2yrs. It has never grown, it has never put out new leaves, it survived my partners very forgetful plant care techniques.Over the last winter it was just another neglected plant on my already busy schedule of things to get to. It started losing all its leaves. The tops became slightly soft and sponge like to the touch. I had written it off and taken it out of my will.Until about 3 weeks ago when I finally got around to it again. I did a quick search for a potting mix and was determined to fix him. Ordered this mix out of a quick search (I detest miracle gro brand) and it was on its way.The next day I cleaned the pot out, loosened the roots of the two stalks and replanted him back into his pot. The mix was well above the usual quality I see in potting mixes. It had an earthy smell and very light weight. Better than any cactus mix I had seen before. It was easy to mix and settle around the roots. After packing it in, a very good soaking and full 8hrs or drain time… back into a brightly lit dining room area it went. It’s been nearly 2 weeks now and I can not stress how great he looks! New leaves, more growth and it no longer has a soft spot anywhere on it!

Good Quality Indoor Mix, Just a Bit Expensive
This potting mix offers excellent drainage and a soft, airy texture, making it ideal for indoor containers, especially without drainage holes. It contains organic fertilizer, which supports light-feeding plants like herbs, greens, and houseplants. However, the nutrient level may not be enough for heavy feeders like tomatoes or zucchini without additional fertilization. The 6-quart bag is on the smaller side and a bit more expensive than similar products at Home Depot, but it's clean, organic, and great for small-scale indoor gardening.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My Lavender is Thriving!
I’ve tried a few soil mixes for my lavender but this one is by far the best. It drains well, doesn't stay soggy, and my plants perked up within a few days.🌿 Organic and made in the USA — big bonus for me🪴 No bugs or weird smells like some other brandsHighly recommend if you want your succulent or lavender to stay healthy and happy!

Good for my cactus
My cactus and succulents love it. I bought a bunch of small plants from home depot and wanted to transfer them to their own ceramic pots. This is the cheapest soil I found. My plants love it and they grow nice and large.

Bought succulent cuttings and this soil looked healthy- all plants rooted and are thriving!
I bought the succulent variety soil. Many reviews say that it has a little soil and bunch of other matter in there but it’s not true. The mix is definitely rich in soil and doesn’t have too much matter added for drainage. All my succulents are thriving, I am first time succulent mom so that tells you something. If anything, I will add some beach sand to my next batch for cacti and succulents. The soil appeared healthy and it was plentiful.

Woody and grows white mold and mushrooms.
I have ordered this product twice. The first bag I received was excellent. It drained well and my plants seemed happy. My son started his own little fairy garden with succulents so I decided to order another bag for his flower pot. When I got this bag, I noticed it seemed a little more "woody" than the other but decided to try it out anyhow. After transplanting his watch chain, strings of pearls, and jade plant, a few days later I noticed the top layer of soil was starting to show a film of white mold over it and his watch chain began to break off at soil level. I am assuming due to root rot as the soil was still as wet as it was when we transplanted to plants a few days prior. I had also started to germinate seeds in another container and that too has splotched of white mold and is growing little mushrooms. I guess with this brand, its touch and go on if you get a good bag or not. I'm dumping out the soil tomorrow and replanting his plants with miracle grow succulent soil.... Would not recommend.
