I mounted the light above my tachometer on the dash with 3M Velcro tape and it's worked flawlessly. Great visual aid without taking eyes off the road. Must have if you already have the Lufi or are thinking about ordering it together.

Very dim blue led that can be upgraded
The shift light has a really nice housing that is low profile and fits in tight spaces. It came with a really dim single led on a small board. The led was about 2mm x 2mm. The good news is you can buy different led bulbs and put them in this nice inexpensive housing. I ended up using a red led 1156 bulb, some clear epoxy, and some wiring I had laying around.This is still a good product that is worth the money, but its certainly not bright enough to be a shift light used during the day unless you modify it. I'm quite happy with this purchase.
