I built a table mounted sheet metal brake capable of bending 16 gauge steel. And these hinges were perfect for the build allowing for a true 90 degree bend in the sheet metal.

These were a bit tricky to work with the first time. But once I understood some basic welding ideas, they worked, and are still working, well.

These are very heavy duty and well made with quality material.

These arrive "weld on ready" right out of the shipping box. No prep work required. These are 1/2" - 5/8" in diameter and are rated at 500lbs. each. If used for/on a ramp and are welded on in the same direction, you'll be able to remove your ramp; which is very handy (be sure to design safety in your ramp, so your ramp doesn't fall off during travel).

Nice solid steel hinge pins. To me they welded the same as any A36 type steel, so all good as far as I am concerned. They arrived nice and clean. If you are not going to use them right away you might want to hit them with some oil. Next time I need hinge pins for a project I will order these again.

I'm glad I only needed 3 of these out of the 8. There were only 3 with tight enough tolerances to be viable hinges. The other 5 were terrible, mainly on the socket end. Too big so the pin wobbles around in the hole. One or two actually had a ledge machined inside. Almost like they caught the mistake halfway through machining, then readjusted the lathe. Find a higher quality option.
