I saw these on a YouTube video and bought them to cut up cardboard boxes. They work great.

I should have purchased before Christmas. Charged quickly and ready to cut up. Very lightweight and easy to operate. Best tool/toy ever. I’m replacing shelf paper just to use it. Love the pretty and fab case. Works perfectly.

My township only allows for cardboard in the recycling bin. Have been using this for a couple of months and has made cutting up the boxes a breeze.

great for breaking down boxes for recycling wish it could handle a little thicker cardboard but has been very useful

I use this to cut the grommets off of worn out American flags due to be retired. It was very comfortable, durable, very efficient. Using scissors in the past was exhausting to my hands for gripping and cutting the heavy material. Lighter weight material, such as nylons With a reinforced grommet holders was less of an issue. For speed and comfort of use this did very well. Since it was rechargeable, I didn’t have to drag a cord around.

Well, I went for the discount version and ended up with sub-par unit. I had a couple boxes from air conditioners, granted they were pretty heavy duty cardboard but I did not expect this fully charged brand new cutter to constantly bind and lock up when trying to cut the cardboard. I am not sure if others out there are better or worse than this one, but this did not satisfy my requirements and likely will end up being just one of those tools in the pile of stuff we all have that was bought on a whim and did not immediately find a home in our heart.

I bought this because I am a senior and have difficulties cutting boxes to put in my recycle bin.Pros: I love the case that it some in. It is very sturdy and will keep everything together. Charging was very fast.Cons: This thing was not made for people with small hands. You are supposed to operate the on off switch with your palm, but I can barely get the tips of my fingers around it since you have to keep your thumb on the safety switch in order to operate it.If your box is not totally flat, or even a little bit warped the safety guard catches making it difficult to push the blade through.You have to turn the box one direction to cut on the edges because the motor casing sticks out so far. Might be better without such a large safety guard.Safety guard only allows for thinner cardboard so will not work on double wall boxes.Not going to go through the hassle of returning it as I can still use it, just not as much as I wanted.
