All I had to do is put the tires on! It is heavy but it is supposed to be. We have to clean our main drain 2-3 times a year due to roots. It pays for itself when you no longer have to rent machines or call the plummer! Follow the directions and watch some videos on how to clean a drain before you use it. Wear gloves and eye protection.

It works!
We have two other drain cleaners, but they weren't long enough. This powered right through the clog the others couldn't reach, and took care of the problem.

it works but I'm returning it
Actually worked pretty well... until it stopped retracting. I got quite a few root balls out of my main sewer line and things were going pretty well. It started shaking quite a bit as I was using it and then it wouldn't retract the cable anymore. I discovered that the screws that hold the cable in place had broken through the plastic housing for the and was loose on the inside.I fixed the issue enough to retract the cable and am now returning it. This shouldn't happen the first time it is used. I may have gotten one that wasn't constructed properly but who knows.
