I’m a newly converted fan of turmeric and kojic acid having used the face pads this past year. I was curious what a scrub would be like and I really like this one for a bit of a deeper cleanse. It’s designed to help even out skin tone, brighten skin, lighten dark spots, exfoliate dead skin cells, help target blackheads and acne, and deeply cleanse. Alongside the main ingredients are some other natural additions like strawberry seeds, sea salt, vitamin C and walnut shell powder.It comes in a plastic tub with screw lid, and a little spatula should you want to use it. Using this is much like most other face scrubs. I just use my fingers to scoop some out and massage it onto my skin. The brad suggests washing your face with water before use, so I just have slightly damp skin when I apply this as they don’t say to dry skin first, and then massage gently for 30 to 60 seconds. Rinse off thoroughly and then continue with your usual skincare routine. I use serum and moisturiser after this.It can be a bit messy to rinse off but I tend to do most of it with water and then dampen a flannel to ensure the rest is fully removed. I tend to find most cleansers and exfoliators leave my skin quite dry and this one does too a bit, but not severely so. I wouldn’t say it’s a moistening scrub for me but it’s not super drying either and a little moisturiser afterwards does the trick.My skin definitely feels lovely and soft after use. I do think that with more regular use it has has helped with skin tone, and with generally helping my skin look a touch brighter and healthier. It hasn’t done anything for me with blocked pores and blackheads, which is a shame, but I think some lingering spots are fading since using this. I like the mix of ingredients here, the fact it’s more natural and yet quite powerful in terms of effectiveness. I don’t know how often is best to use this but once or twice a week is probably a good place to start.I’ve had no issues with the product and I’ve no downsides so I’m very happy with it!

Good value scrub that does what it says. I've noticed my skin become clearer after using this for almost a month now and I'm still not half way through the jar. I apply it twice weekly and leave on for about 5 minutes before rinsing it off. Has a strong citrusy scent and a thick consistency but a little goes a long way.Leaves my face and neck looking squeaky clean. I then follow with a good moisturiser. Would be happy to recommend.

Easy to use comes with the handy little applicator. Gently exfoliates and clears clogged up pores. Left my skin smooth, soft and clear. perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again

I know it is an entirely incidental part of it, but I was well impressed by the precise & thorough construction of the cardboard box in which this product was delivered. The jar in which the facial scrub is delivered is plastic, which is in this case better than glass, as it is likely to be used over a bathroom sink &, due to the slippery nature of the product, the jar might easily slip from one’s fingers, but this plastic jar will not damage a fragile porcelain sink. This is a real risk; a year or so back, I chipped a sink with a small fragrance bottle which dropped from a cabinet shelf above the sink, causing damage expensive to repair.The POP MODERN.C Turmeric Kojic Acid Facial Scrub has a pleasant smell, is lightly abrasive but not uncomfortable & leaves my skin feeling noticeably smoother. It hasn’t yet made an old face young again but hopefully it will as I work my way through the jar.There were no instructions with the product, so I needed to observe the guidance for use given in the Amazon listing, but that was unfortunately somewhat confusing. I was not entirely sure whether or not to apply a moisturising cream after using the facial scrub because the 2nd last picture ‘ How to use’ stated in Step 4 “Moisturize after cleansing your face”, yet the final bullet point in the text of the Amazon listing stated “It has a moisturizing and soothing formula”! My skin felt adequately moisturised immediately after rinsing off the facial scrub & before any other moisturiser was applied.
